The months during construction are often the most demanding for the client. During this time final finish and fixture selections must be made at regular intervals, the progress of the builder must be monitored, and design refinements are often made as unforeseen conditions are encountered. An open dialogue among the owner, the architect and the builder is critical to ensure proper coordination of details and material sections. We recommend scheduling progress meetings at regular intervals to address issues as they arise, and to prevent small problems from becoming larger ones.
