CROWNING ACHIEVEMENT

Balancing kitchen efficiency with the desire for openness and natural light can be a challenge.  Kitchen walls are useful but confining.  Here, a balance is artfully achieved with a crown of high clerestory windows that flood the galley kitchen with daylight.  The cozy booth in the window bay at the end of the galley layout is a complementary signature feature.
